Aloe Skin Renew formulas work because of sound science and ingredients that have been proven in clinical studies. There are three main objectives for the Aloe Skin Renew Anti-Aging Skin Care System.

Short term anti-aging results with immediate wrinkle reducing results. This is accomplished with a fast acting peptide called Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 or its trade name Argireline®. It quickly helps to reduce mechanisms of wrinkle formation, and provides and instant smoothing effect. It reduces the depth of wrinkles around the eyes, up to 17% after 15 days of treatment and up to 27% after 30 days. Argirilene® works by helping to relax the muscles that cause facial expressions, which over time lead to fine lines and wrinkles. It mimics the action of Botox®, but muscles aren’t paralyzed, just relaxed, to give you a more youthful and refreshed appearance. It’s completely safe and non-toxic.
Long term anti-aging results that build collagen are achieved through consistent use over time.

Palmitoyl-pentapeptide-3 ( Matrixyl 3000™) stimulates collagen synthesis and stimulates fibroblast molecules which aid dermal matrix repair. Use of Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 in clinical studies has shown that surface area occupied by deep wrinkles was reduced by 68% and mean wrinkle density by 46% – after 60 days.
Acetyl Octapeptide3, (SNAP-8) This peptide is actually an elongation of the peptide Argirilene®. It reduces the depth of wrinkles on the face caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression, especially those around the eyes and in the forehead.

Immediate and long term results for overall skin health.

All ASR Formulas contain the highest concentration of Greenhouse Whole Leaf Aloe Vera. This is the number one ingredient in each of our formulas (as seen on each container), Aloe, not water, is the main ingredient). Aloe Vera has been used for thousands of years for skin care, including burn treatment. It enhances dermal absorption and acts as a carrying agent. It has been used for sunburn, dry skin, chapping and most all other skin conditions. It imparts a smooth, soft feel to the skin. Collagen and the skin

The ASR Anti-Aging Skin Care System is designed to build new collagen in the skin, not apply it topically. This is done with the collagen promoting power of the two main peptides used in the formulas.

Collagen is a primary component of healthy skin. It is a large molecule that is difficult to deliver through topical application because of its size. It simply sits on top of the skin, providing moisturizing benefits at best. Most skin creams only deliver into the skin smaller molecules, such as partial proteins, hydrolyzed collagen, (collagen molecules broken down with enzymes), vitamins and minerals. Until now, many people turned to doctors to restore collagen with direct injections. But, injections are costly, inconvenient and can be irritating. With Aloe Skin Renew, there’s no need to invest money in painful injections or surgeries to look your best.

How exactly do these ingredients work in the skin? Let’s get a little bit more technical

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argirilene®) is a molecule and is a non-toxic, non-irritant compound that modulates the excessive stimulations of the facial muscle, relaxing facial tensions and reducing the depth of already formed wrinkles. It actually protects cells from breaking down. It seems to work best on thin skin, including skin around the eyes.

Pentapeptide-3 (Matrixyl 3000™) stimulates the development of new collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans (GAGS) in the dermal layer of the skin as no other topical ingredient has done before. It has five amino acids peptides in a chain and is a synthesized protein, as are other peptides, assembled to create and heal and repair response in the dermis of the skin. This particular peptide stimulates the collagen I, collagen II and elastin fibroblasts, as well as fibronectin (FN) and GAGS. FN and GAGS are important components that moisturize and support the dermal matrix, helping to keep the skin plump and youthful. When topically applied consistently over a period of time, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 noticeably increases skin thickness, firmness and improves the appearance of aging skin. It can also stimulate the production of collagen OV fibroblasts. (see note 2)

Acetyl Octapeptide3, (SNAP-8) This more powerful peptide is the elongated daughter of the acetyl hexapeptide molecule. It can significantly modulate muscle contraction thus preventing the formation of lines and wrinkles that are caused by repeated movement. It is especially effective in reducing wrinkle depth while acetyl hexapeptide is more effective in reducing surface muscle tension.

The bottom line

Independent studies have shown that the three main ingredients in the ASR Anti-Aging Skin Care System Formulas (Argirilene®, SNAP-8 and Matrixyl 3000™) reduce the depth of wrinkles, especially in the forehead and around the eyes. These independent tests (See note 1) show, when used as directed an average reduction of depth of 27% in the first 30 days and up to 45% in 60 days.
